WATERTOWN, NY —Â Leon D. Muckey, 39, of 807 Emmett St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 3:31 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, at his residence with eavesdropping, a felony.
Mr. Muckey is accused of hiding a cell phone that was recording audio in his child’s car seat which was placed into a vehicle belonging to Amanda L. Callahan-Milligan, and subsequently recorded a private conversation between her and Jessica L. Muckey without their knowledge and without the defendant present during the recording at about 3:30 p.m. April 24 at 807 Emmett St., according to court documents.
He was held for arraignment in court, police said.
