WATERTOWN, NY — Lakendrick A. Darby, 25, of 117 JB Wise Place, Apt. 201, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 9:32 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at 127 N. Pleasant St. with trespass and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
Mr. Darby is accused of entering the property of Kristopher W.E. Cooley, 32, without permission at about 9:19 p.m. Saturday at 127 N. Pleasant St., police said.
He is also accused of possessing a stolen police chaplain badge belonging to Rev. Jeffrey Smith, according to court documents. Police listed the value of the badge at $100.
He was being held pending arraignment Sunday morning in City Court.
