Watertown man displayed knife during domestic incident, police say

WATERTOWN, NYJoshua D. Brett, 27, of 715 Hancock St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 1:35 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, at his residence with second-degree menacing, fourth-degree criminal mischief and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Mr. Brett is accused of displaying a serrated kitchen butcher knife during a domestic incident with Ginger L. Brett, 51, and damaged the wood frame on her back door at about 12:05 p.m. Tuesday at 711 Hancock St., according to court documents.

He was being held pending arraignment Tuesday afternoon in City Court.
