Watertown man facing charge after 4-year-old boy climbs onto roof, police say

WATERTOWN, NY —  Michael J. Earl, Jr., 30, of 311 Walker Ave., Apt. D, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 3:04 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, at his residence with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.

Mr. Earl is accused of failing to provide adequate supervision of a 4-year-old boy who climbed out a second second-story window onto a roof creating a substantial risk of danger to his life or health at about 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, at 311 Walker Ave., Apt. D, according to court documents.

He is summoned to appear Nov. 30 in City Court.
