WATERTOWN, NY —Â Ryan C. Hughes, 24, of 1620 Huntington St., Apt. N3, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at Huntington Heights apartments at 1:29 a.m. Friday, Dec. 13, with second-degree unlawful imprisonment.
Mr. Hughes is accused of placing himself on the floor in an apartment blocking the doorway to a bedroom which prevented Mary Rutherford, 26, from leaving despite her repeated requests during a domestic incident at about 12:51 a.m. Friday at 1620 Huntington St., Apt. N3, according to court documents.
He was being held pending arraignment Friday morning in City Court.
