Watertown man facing charges after domestic incident, police say

WATERTOWN, NY — Charles W. Carter Jr., 29, of 164 Palmer St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 3:07 a.m. Wednesday, April 10, at his residence with third-degree criminal mischief, a felony, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment.

He is accused of punching holes in a bathroom wall, damaging a dresser worth $800, a television and other property belonging to Brittany M. Harris, 29, during a domestic incident at about 2:56 a.m. Wednesday in the presence of a 4-year-old girl, police said. He is also accused of punching Ms. Harris in the face causing her nose to bleed, according to court documents.

He was held for arraignment Wednesday morning in City Court.
