Watertown man facing charges after domestic incident, police say

WATERTOWN, NY —  Kareem C. Jones, 21, of 126 N. Orchard St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 11:10 p.m. Monday, June 15, in the 100 block of N. Orchard Street with second-degree criminal contempt and disorderly conduct.

Mr. Jones is accused of violating the terms of a City Court stay-away order of protection when he engaged in an argument with the protected party, Kayla Dake, 19, during a domestic incident at her residence at about 10:30 p.m. Monday, police said.

He is additionally accused of yelling at his girlfriend, Destiny Dake, in front of multiple family members causing them to get the police involved at about 10:37 p.m. Monday at 133 N. Orchard St., according to court documents.

He was being held pending arraignment on Tuesday morning.
