Watertown police investigate shooting at pool hall on Arsenal Street

WATERTOWN, NY —  City police are investigating a shooting reported at about 2:39 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, at Sip N Cue, 300 Arsenal St.

A male victim was transported at 3:07 a.m. from the scene by Guilfoyle Ambulance to Samaritan Medical Center. A landing zone was set up at the Town of Adams Highway Department in Adams Center, however a medical helicopter declined service due to weather conditions.

Police were actively searching for a vehicle that reportedly left the scene.

Further details from police have not been released at this time.

The condition of the victim has also not been provided.

City police are being assisted by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, New York State Police, City of Watertown Fire Department and Guilfoyle Ambulance.
