PAMELIA — State Police arrested Teresa L. Salter, 45, Watertown, NY, for second-degree menacing, fourth-degree criminal mischief, sexual misconduct, and second-degree harassment.
On Sept. 7, 2019, troopers were called to a residence on Mustard Road in the town of Pamelia regarding a domestic dispute.
The investigation has revealed Salter intentionally struck a 75-year-old woman several times with a closed fist and threatened her with a kitchen knife and hammer, troopers said.
During the investigation it was disclosed that Salter was engaging in sexual contact with a dog inside the residence, troopers said.
Salter was arraigned in the town of Pamelia Court and remanded to the Jefferson County Public Safety Building on $1,000 cash bail/$2,000 bond.
