WATERTOWN, NY —Â Â Meghan A. Clement, 43, of 1815 Olmsted Dr., Apt. 226D, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 3:20 p.m. Monday, July 12, at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building with petit larceny, a misdemeanor.
It is alleged she placed two Master locks in her purse valued at $28.98 and exited Ace Hardware, 531 State St., without attempting to pay at about 9:33 a.m. Monday, police said.
She is summoned to appear in City Court at a later date.
