Watertown woman accused of violating order of protection, police say

WATERTOWN, NY —  Elizabeth M. Singh, 35, of 46 Public Square, Apt. 211, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 8:20 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at 600 Lillian St. with first-degree criminal contempt, a felony, second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child.

Ms. Singh is accused of violating the terms of a City Court refrain-from order of protection when she punched and slapped a 30-year-old man in his face in close proximity to an 11-year-old child during a domestic incident at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday at 600 Lillian St., according to court documents.

She was being held pending arraignment Sunday morning in City Court.
