Woman charged with aggravated DWI after crashing on dead-end street

WATERTOWN, NYTrishia A. Seymour, 47, of 201 Creekwood Dr., Apt. 5, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 8:49 p.m. Thursday, June 21, at 726 Lillian St. with aggravated driving while intoxicated following a one-vehicle accident.

Police responded to a report of a vehicle over an embankment at the end of a dead-end street. Firefighters stabilized the vehicle until a tow truck arrived on scene.

Ms. Seymour’s blood alcohol content was 0.18 percent, police said. A BAC of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. Aggravated DWI, which carries harsher penalties upon conviction, is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or greater.

She is summoned to appear July 6 in City Court.
