Watertown woman stabbed man in leg during domestic incident, police say

WATERTOWN, NY — Shamara A. Slaughter, 20, of 1217 Faichney Dr., Apt. 8, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 4:18 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 1, at her residence with second-degree assault, a felony, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor.

She is accused of stabbing Bobby Slaughter, 20, with a kitchen knife in his left leg during a domestic incident at about 10:20 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31, in their apartment requiring 10 stitches, according to court documents.

She was arraigned before City Judge Anthony M. Neddo who sent her to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building with bail set at $10,000 cash.
