CARTHAGE, NY — Wayne G Fuller, Sr, Stafford, VA, and formerly of Carthage, passed unexpectedly on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2020.
Born Dec. 29, 1948, in Carthage, New York, he was the son of Everett G. and Dorcus (Bellinger) Fuller and was the youngest of seven children.
Wayne moved to Virginia after his marriage to Pamela (Downey) Fuller ended in divorce August 1990.
He drove taxi on and off for years in Jefferson County and worked for Watertown School systems as a custodian. After moving, he continued his custodial work for several school systems in Virginia until his retirement.
Wayne met and married his wife Helen in 1992. They were happy, both enjoyed retirement and spending time with their dog Sandy. He loved getting on his tablet and checking out the weather for New York, calling his daughter, Jayne and asking if she was snowed in!
He is survived by his loving wife, Helen, Stafford Virginia; his sister, Elizabeth (Liz) Peck, Felts Mills, NY; his son, Wayne G (Stephanie) Fuller, Jr, Adams Center, NY; his daughters, Jayne (Sam) Clark, Theresa NY, Valerie Fuller, Watertown NY, and Christy (William) Ackley, Arizona, seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Everett and Dorcus, his sister, Evelyn, his brothers, John F., Richard, Stanley and Gary, and first wife, Pamela.
Wayne is being cremated in Virginia and there will be no services at this time. There will be a celebration of life at a later date to be determined.
