THERESA, NY —Â William E. Wyatt, 65, of Snell Road, Theresa, died Saturday evening, October 26, 2019 in the emergency room of River Hosptial, Alexandria Bay, NY.
Born on August 2, 1954 in Cortland, NY, he was a son of William and Phyllis Rood Wyatt. He graduated from Cincinnatus Central School in 1972.
William married JoAnn S. Hotaling August 26, 1972 in Solon, NY.
He worked for Crowley Foods, LaFargeville, NY for 20 years and then went to work for the Thousand Island Bridge Authority, as a groundskeeper for Boldt Castle, Alexandria Bay, NY, for 10 years.
William enjoyed fishing, playing golf and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, JoAnn; his father-in-law, Robert Hotaling, Solon, NY; two daughters and a son-in-law, Heather and Jason O’Rourke, Marathon, NY and Melissa Wyatt-Fox, Cortland, NY; five grandchildren, Brianna and Joey Ricks, JoAnna Wyatt-Petrella, Danica Fox, Brenden O’Rourke and Zachary O’Rourke; two great-granddaughters, Hailey Ricks and Harmony O’Rourke.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service at a later date.
