WATERTOWN, NY — The Jefferson County Board of Elections is making one poll site change for the Thursday, Sept. 13 primary. Polls will be open from noon to 9 p.m.
WHO: Eligible voters in Wilna’s Fourth Election District
CURRENT POLL SITE: Wilna Community Center, 27570 High St., Natural Bridge
POLL SITE FOR PRIMARY: Deferiet Village Hall, 68 Riverside Drive
This poll site change is for the Sept. 13 primary only. Those in Wilna 4 will vote at their regular poll site during the Nov. 6 general election.
To apprise voters of the change, the Board of Elections will mail notices to the 85 registered
Democrats eligible for their party’s primary for governor, lieutenant governor and attorney
general. They will also send letters to the 61 voters eligible for the Reform Party primary for attorney general, which is open to those registered without party affiliation as well as those still registered in defunct parties (in this case, the two Wilna voters still registered as “Liberal”).
