WATERTOWN, NY — Hailey S. Dean, 19, of 544 Cooper St., Apt. 2, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 6:56 p.m. Friday, June 22, at 544 Cooper St. with second-degree assault, a felony, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony, and criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, a misdemeanor.
Ms. Dean is accused of striking Kevin B. Youmans, 18, same address, in the back of his head with a glass paperweight during a domestic incident at about 6:40 p.m. Friday at 544 Cooper St., police said. She is also accused of placing her hand on Mr. Younman’s neck and applied pressure in an attempt to obstruct his blood circulation, according to court documents.
She was being held pending arraignment Saturday morning in City Court.
