WATERTOWN, NY — Kelicia A. Asante, 22, of 1815 Olmsted Dr., Apt. 207D, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 12:20 p.m. Friday, July 27, at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building with second-degree criminal contempt.
She is accused of violating the terms of a Family Court order of protection when she made verbal contact and gestures across her throat in a manner interpreted by the protected party as threatening on July 25, police said.
She was held for arraignment in City Court.
